Башенная броненосная лодка «Чародейка» строилась на государственной верфи «Галерный островок» в Санкт-Петербурге по проекту английской фирмы «Митчел и К°», доработанному кораблестроительным техническим комитетом. После списания передан на хранение в Кронштадтский порт.
