Бывший германский грузовой пароход "Garald". В начале ПМВ интернирован. 26.08.1914 реквизирован и зачислен в состав Балтийского флота как транспорт "ЦЕ". 16-19.04.1918 обеспечивал углём Ледовый поход кораблей БФ. С 05.1918 находился в порту на хранении. 12.10.1918 возвращён Германии по Брестскому договору.
