В 1966-1969 гг в состав ВМФ были включены 9 малых разведкораблей проекта 502 переоборудованных изсредних рыболовных морозильных траулеров типа "Маяк" постройки Киевского ССЗ, "Ленинская кузница" и Ярославского ССЗ,- Курс", "Анероид", "Курсограф","Анадырь(ГС-536", "Гирорулевой"),"ГС-242","ГС-239", "Ладога""Херсонес","ГС-231".

Эти корабли имели следующие ТТХ:

скороость хода 12 узлов
автономность 31 сутки
дальность плавания 8600 миль
экипаж 75 человек
