22.02.2023 на переходе из Клайпеды в Ригу на контейнеровозе возник пожар в машинном отделении. Судно находилось в Рижском заливе между Мерсрагсом и Роей примерно в 9 км от берега. В 2:57 экипаж покинул судно в спасательной шлюпке, их принял на борт проходящий мимо т/х Kairit и доставил всех в Рижский порт. Через примерно 10 часов судно взяли буксиры Stella и Orion. 23.02.2023 ближе к полуночи Escape поставили к причалу в Рижском порту.
