Интересно-но в Днепропетровске нет метростроительного завода и вообще я впервые слышу о данном типе заводов

Вадим, спасибо за уточнение.

В 1981 году катер был исключен из состава флота Ялтинского МТП и передан
Днепропетровскому заводу металлургического оборудования.
Это подтверждено документом ЯМТП.
А вот источник информации о месте его модернизации в Днепропетровске
пока найти не могу.
