Теплоход «Тюменский-7» 13 октября буксировал несамоходную баржу «903», груженную строительными материалами. Во время захода в бухту Новый Порт в акватории Обской губы при штормовых условиях от удара друг об друга получили пробоины, вследствие чего начали тонуть.

Находившиеся рядом суда оказали помощь экипажу теплохода в откачке воды. В результате происшествия жертв и пострадавших нет.
