20 декабря 2022 года в 20.30, на судне "Beata", следовавшем из Констанцы в Трабзон с 17 членами экипажа (14 египтян, 1 грузин, 1 албанец, 1 гражданин Украины), в семи морских милях от Синопа (Турция) вспыхнул пожар. Вертолет охраны Самсуна немедленно отреагировал на пожар вместе с рыболовецкими судами "Sürsan 21" и "Kazım Kobya". "Сурсан 21" эвакуировал 13 выживших, трое были спасены "Казым Кобья". Капитан пропал без вести. Пожар был потушен к 21 декабря, но надстройка выгорела дотла.
